The show is an adaptation of the legend of the Chinese princess, based on a collage of texts by Carlo Gozzi, Friedrich Schiller, the libretto of Giuseppe Adami and Renato Simoni, Camus, trying to place a canonical character into a hostile present, with imperial palaces turned into independent theatres. The interaction with the audience, carried mostly on a light-hearted, humorous tone, questions the influence of archetypes.
