A young couple is expecting a child. An emerging musician tries to survive in the art world without betraying his artistic persona. A homeless junker tries to escape the reality of the streets in the imaginary undewater world where his dead fish is.

Their stories are connected by the Woman, who makes them question their existence as a species and the need of it's perpetuation on an already suffocating planet.
